What is the best way to approach my job search?

I am just getting into the job market and trying to get ideas on the best approach for my job search.  I recently graduated from college in accounting and have no professional experience.   I have attended a couple of job fairs and created Job Alerts on a few popular job boards.  The only work experience I have at this point is restaurant and retail jobs in had in college.  Should I list those type jobs on my resume?
