Should I take a job that I’m not happy with?

I have been looking for a job for 12 months and finally received a job offer.  The job offer is for 48,000 and I’m not sure whether to accept it because I know it’s not enough for me to regain my lifestyle and I will not be happy.  I need a job now but accepting a job that I will not be happy with will only cause me to continue looking and leaving the job as soon as the next opportunity comes up.
