I didn’t turn on my video camera. Did that hurt my interview?

Recently had a remote job interview and did not turn on my camera.  Normally, when I have a remote interview, I dress very professionally and always turn on my camera.  However, on this recent remote interview, I got home late and did not have a chance to change or prepare like I normally do.   The entire interview felt weird because there were three people interviewing me and they all had their cameras on and mind was turned off.  Throughout the interview it felt that I was being rude, I thought about turning my camera on anyway but it was obvious that I was not dress appropriately.  Then I thought about coming clean and telling the interviewer my situation but that might have backfired and give a negative impression.  So far, I have not heard back from the company and I’m wondering if I hurt my chances of getting hired because my camera was off.  Has anyone attended a remote interview and did not turn on their camera?  Do you think that would hurt a person’s chances of landing a job?
